What all three kitchen pods share
Whichever length you pick, the pod arrives the same way: towed to your drive, levelled on its jockey wheel and corner steadies, and connected to your household power and outside tap by our team. You walk in through the same access door with a window and a pull-down step.
Inside, every size cooks, washes up and keeps food cold: electric oven, 4-ring hob, extractor, sink with hot and cold water, microwave, kettle, toaster, cupboards and worktop. All three are hired by the week and extend a week at a time.
Size for the length of the job, too
A short, like-for-like kitchen swap is easy to live with in a Compact. A refit that runs past a month is a different story: that is when a washing machine and a tall fridge freezer stop being extras and start being the difference between coping and not.

The 10ft Compact
Two of you, or a small household, and a job measured in weeks rather than months. You get the full cooking kit: oven, hob, extractor, hot-water sink, a fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and toaster, plus cupboards and worktop.
The 12ft Family
Three or four at home, school runs and packed lunches. The washing machine keeps uniforms and work clothes out of the laundrette, and the tall fridge freezer holds a proper family shop. For a family of four, this is the one we point you to first.
The 14ft Family Plus
Five or more, or a big extension that runs for months. The dishwasher takes the evening washing up off your hands, and the breakfast bar gives two people somewhere to sit with a coffee before the builders arrive.

Which kitchen pod size do I need?
Couples and smaller households go for the 10ft Compact. Families of three or four go for the 12ft Family, which adds a washing machine and a tall fridge freezer. Bigger families and longer builds go for the 14ft Family Plus, which adds a dishwasher and a breakfast bar for two.
What does the ft size measure?
The length of the kitchen box itself: 10ft is 3.05m, 12ft is 3.66m and 14ft is 4.27m. The drawbar at the front adds to the overall length. We confirm the exact footprint with your price.
Can I change size after booking?
Yes, any time before delivery, as long as that size is free on your dates. Tell us and we update the booking.
Which size suits an insurance repair?
Insurance repairs after a flood or escape of water run long, so go a size up from what you would pick for a short refit. Pick by the people at home first, then think about the weeks.
Are all three sizes the same height and width?
All three are the same box trailer design in the same livery. The difference is the length and what goes inside.
