Renovating your kitchen
New kitchen, extension or knock-through. Book the pod when you book the fitter and keep cooking the whole time the room is a building site.
A temporary kitchen during renovationTemporary kitchen hire that parks on your driveway: a fitted kitchen pod with an oven, hob, hot-water sink and fridge freezer. Choose 10ft, 12ft or 14ft and check your dates in five taps.
No obligation. Hired by the week, extended a week at a time.
Keep scrolling. The trailer comes apart panel by panel.
We tow the kitchen to your house, reverse it onto the drive, wind the jockey wheel down and drop the corner steadies so it stands level.
Take the roof off and pull the walls away. Inside the white box and the livery is a kitchen you can stand up in, with a non-slip floor and a proper run of units.
Oven, hob and extractor. A sink with hot and cold water. A fridge freezer, and on the Family sizes a washing machine. Microwave, kettle, toaster and cupboards for your own things. Then the lights come on.
Walls back on, door open, kettle on. It stays on your drive for as many weeks as the build needs, and we collect it when your new kitchen is ready.

All three are towable twin-axle pods in the same livery. The difference is what goes inside: the Compact covers cooking and washing up, the Family adds a washing machine and a tall fridge freezer, the Family Plus adds a dishwasher and a breakfast bar. See every spec on the kitchen pod sizes page.
Box length to scale beside a 4.4m family car. Your exact footprint comes with your price.
Best for: Families of 3 to 4

Five taps: size, reason, dates, postcode and your details. Your weekly price and delivery date follow.

We tow the kitchen to your drive, level it on its corner steadies and connect it to your household power and outside tap.

Breakfast, packed lunches and Sunday dinner carry on, a few steps from the back door.

New kitchen in? Tell us and we disconnect, hitch up and tow it away. Build running over? Add another week.
Drag the slider. On the left is what a refit leaves you with: bare plaster, capped pipes and a kettle on the stairs. On the right is what we park outside.
Weeks without a kitchen add up fast. Takeaways most nights, cereal for tea, a microwave balanced on the dining table and washing up in the bath. A kitchen pod puts a proper cooker, hot water and a fridge back in reach, so the family keeps its routine while the builders get on with it.

Put in your own numbers. The total is what the weeks without a kitchen cost you in takeaways and meals out. That money buys you a kitchen on the drive instead.
An estimate from your own numbers, not a quote. It counts takeaway nights only, before parking, delivery fees and the extra trips out.

A temporary kitchen during renovation
An insurance claim that takes the kitchen out takes months. A kitchen on the drive keeps you in your own home instead of a hotel.

“How will we cook?” stalls kitchen quotes. Answer it with a working kitchen on the drive, booked through you.
Trade partnersMost families patch together a microwave, a kettle and a lot of takeaways. Here is how that stacks up against a kitchen on the drive. For how the trailer itself arrives and connects, read about temporary kitchen trailer hire.

The six questions every family asks first. The full FAQ covers the kitchen, your driveway, power and water, insurance and trade bookings.
Check datesYou pay one weekly price for the size you pick, and the price depends on the size, the number of weeks and how far the kitchen travels to your drive. Tap Check dates and we send your exact weekly price with your delivery dates. Our cost page shows what a renovation costs you in takeaways instead.
Household power and an outside tap. We run the power lead and the water hose from the pod to your supply and connect them on delivery. Tell us where your outside socket and tap are when you book and we plan the setup around them.
The pod is a twin-axle box trailer in 10ft, 12ft or 14ft lengths, plus the drawbar at the front. If your drive takes a family car with room to walk round it, the 10ft and 12ft sizes are the place to start. Send your postcode and we check access before we confirm.
As long as the job takes. It is hired by the week and you extend a week at a time, so a build that runs over does not leave you without a kitchen.
Many home insurance policies include alternative accommodation cover, and a kitchen on the drive keeps the family at home instead of in a hotel. Ask your claims handler or loss adjuster, and see our insurance claims page for what to ask.
Book when you book your fitter, so the kitchen arrives the day the old one comes out.
Tell us the size, the weeks and the postcode. You get a weekly price and the dates we can deliver, level and connect your temporary kitchen. Ready to book? Go straight to check availability.
No obligation. Extend a week at a time if the build runs on.
